Alan established Lobium Law following a rewarding three years at a full-service Canadian law firm in Toronto and, prior to that, gaining practical experience working at Canada’s leading custodial services provider as in-house counsel. With a wide range of practical experience advising clients on political law matters, Alan was excited to launch Lobium Law in the spring of 2025.  

Alan’s extensive experience advising and representing clients across the financial services, professional services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and natural resource sectors allow him to bring practical legal advice for the context in which his clients operate.

As a former nomination candidate for a federal political party, Alan has first-hand knowledge of the complex rules that public office holders and businesses must adhere to.

In his spare time, Alan and his close university colleagues run a federally registered charity that supports Canadian Forces families through academic scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen Canadian Forces personnel. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
